Executive E-learning Course on Corporate Social Responsibility

February – April 2011

In times of the financial crises, the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is widely discussed in the economic and political world. Organisations around the world are taking steps to demonstrate and enhance their CSR recognising, that sound ethics and core values also offer clear business benefits. The commitment in the area of social responsibility thus becomes a strategic decision.

But what - and what is not - CSR? How can CSR be implemented well as a long lasting change management process? How can one define the best CSR initiative (Global Compact, Business Social Compliance Initiative, SA 8000, ISO 26’000, Global Reporting Initiative, etc.) for a business? Those and many more questions will be taught in the first Corporate Social Responsibility online course.

The executive online course is designed to translate CSR concepts and perspectives into tangible action, suitable tools and methods by developing participants’ skills such as organisational development, mediation, coaching and stakeholder dialogue. All inputs are based on practical field experience of Neosys and sba.

The target audience of the course is executives, managers and staff from enterprises, administrations, non-profit-organisations and universities.

The online CSR course will start on February 7 and will last until April 15, 2011. It is designed for a group of approximately 25 participants. As a selection process will take place, candidates are requested to fill out the registration form and send it with an updated CV and a motivation letter by January 10, 2011 latest.

As limited places are available, candidates’ applications will be considered for the selection process in order of reception.
