Collaboration with Cleaner Production Centers (CPC)

Since 2001, Neosys has fostered close cooperation with Cleaner Production Centres , which support local companies in issues concerning sustainable development. Our services include on the one hand institutional support and advice to the CPCs and on the other we also distinguish ourselves as partners for their portfolio of services in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which focus primarily on labour conditions and stakeholder dialogue. In Latin America, we are also an active member of the CP LatinNet.

Export promotion / Fair Trade

For producers in developing countries we identify potential export products, support them in their optimisation with regard to environmental and social compatibility and in the selection of suitable labels and standards.

Sustainable corporate development / Companies and human rights

Developing countries are dependent on companies investing or producing in them. Not every government is interesting in taking measures that ensure that human rights are observed. There are regular breaches of human rights that can affect both workers and the local population. Neosys can advise companies and their suppliers to familiarise themselves with their situation with regard to human rights (human rights impact assessment) and to take suitable measures. Neosys can act as a moderator in the event of conflicts between companies and external stakeholders, and where necessary mediate.

Control of the labour conditions /Decent Work Agenda

As the result of different campaigns, the public’s attention has been drawn to the problem of exploitive labour conditions in certain countries. Swiss companies that are supplied by companies based in these countries are seen as being co-responsible for ensuring that fair labour conditions are adhered to. With the help of a network of partners in developing countries Neosys can support your company in selecting the suitable combination of measures to ensure fair labour conditions at your supplier companies, e.g. selection of a social management system, formulation of a code of conduct, carrying out a country risk analysis, training of suppliers, preparation/implementation of audits.

Trade with CO2 quotas

The Kyoto Protocol has been in force since February 2005. With its flexible mechanisms, Joint Implementation (JI) and Cleaner Development Mechanism (CDM), it has launched a trading system for transnational greenhouse gas reductions that offers substantial benefits for all those involved in the trade and makes an important contribution to a reduction in greenhouse gases worldwide. For CO2 reductions to be tradable, strict requirements must be met. We have already made projects tradable and have the expertise to create all the necessary project documentation.
