Incident protection and emergency planning

You have to protect your company and your environment from incidents. We help you to determine the corresponding dangers and risks in your company.

You can leave the carrying out of the corresponding risk analyses (pursuant to Appendix 4.1 of the federal Ordinance on Major Accidents [OMA]), the reporting and also the contact with authorities to us. Together with you, we develop measures (e.g. emergency plans) in line with the situation in order to improve your risk of incidents.

Abridged OMA reports for assets
Companies that use hazardous goods in large quantities have to submit an ‘abridged report’ and periodically update it in accordance with the federal Ordinance on Major Accidents. We can do this task for you.

Abridged OMA reports for roads
Abridged reports have to be drawn up not only for companies but also for roads and rail. We have the corresponding know-how and experience for this.

Quantitative risk analysis
If the abridged report reveals that incidents with substantial damage are possible, the individual scenarios need to be analysed in detail. The analysis must permit an assessment as to whether the given situation is compliant with the protection goals of the Federal Government. We are specialised in these analyses and have a good reputation for these among many cantonal enforcement authorities.
