CO2 and climate protection

The Kyoto Protocol has been in force since February 2005. With its ‘flexible mechanisms’, Joint Implementation (JI) and Cleaner Development Mechanism (CDM), it has launched a trading system for transnational greenhouse gas reductions that offers substantial benefits for all those involved in the trade and makes an important contribution to a reduction in greenhouse gases worldwide. With the introduction of the CO2 Act, possibilities of reducing CO2 emissions have also been created in Switzerland.

We offer considerable expertise and services in climate gas balances for communes, products (‘carbon footprint’) and processes. We make CO2 projects tradable at national and international level and develop concepts for climate-neutral organisations.

For CO2 reductions to be tradable, strict requirements must be met. We have already made projects tradable and have the expertise to create all the necessary project documentation.
